Establishment of IFSC GIFT City?
Established on 27 April 2020 under the International Financial Services Centres Authority Act, 2019 the International Financial Services Centre Authority (IFSCA) serves as the unified regulator for India’s International Financial Services Centres (IFSCs). Headquartered in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, IFSCA oversees the development and regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions operating within the IFSC ecosystem.
GIFT City, India’s first and premier international financial services centre, is designed to connect Indian and global financial markets through a world-class regulatory framework.
By bringing all regulators under a single authority IFSCA, it enables seamless regulatory coordination, enhances ease of doing business and fosters innovation across the financial services sector. Its vision is to position GIFT City as a globally competitive financial hub that attracts international capital, facilitates cross-border financial activities and supports the evolving needs of both the Indian economy and global markets.

Having served for over 25 years , TATA AIG has issued 1 Crore + Policies last year , Served 5 Crore + customers since inception , Crossed a significant milestone of INR 20,000 Crore in GWP with 14% growth & backed by strong profitability with PAT exceeding INR 1000 Crore.
Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited has an empowered claims team, with a in-house capability of 400 plus experts spread across 90 office in India. The customer service team too, which is the face of the company to the customer, comprises of 450 team members, operating from various offices across India.
Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited has an Asset Under Management (AUM) of approximate Rs. 35,227 Cr (as of 30th September 2025) and a workforce of about 9,400+ employees present in 262 branches across India.
