Preparation of Files

For Facilitated Applications: The applicant is required to visit the facilitation centre, where an operator will assist in completing the necessary forms online. All the required documents must be attached to the printed application form provided by the facilitation desk.

For Self Applications: The applicant is required to fill out the given forms on the Parivahan website, pay the fees and book a slot for a driving test. A printed, filled form needs to be attached to all required documents.

Verification of Files

The applicant will have to have their files physically verified by an RLA clerk. If the file is rejected, a deficiency slip is given to the applicant. The slip should contain clear reasons for rejection and guide the applicant on how it can be rectified.

Submission of Files

The applicant is required to submit the file at the fees and booking slot for the driving test counter if the fees still need to be paid or a slot is booked.

Staying informed about the procedures and details related to the driving licence and fees is about more than just being financially responsible. It is also about taking significant steps towards safe and legal road navigation.

Navigating the roads of Punjab requires more than just skill and precise reactions; it demands an apparent adherence to rules and regulations as well as the financial commitments that are involved with owning or driving a vehicle.
