Why is Health Insurance Important

The present lifestyle is filled with poor eating habits, stress, lack of exercise, and environmental issues such as pollution, which hurts people’s health. Additionally, health expenditure has become an important part of the total expenditure for any person or family. Therefore, you must get health insurance for yourself and your family.

In times of an emergency when a person needs to be hospitalised, having mediclaim insurance can be of immense help. Moreover, keeping in mind the rising medical costs, a cashless cover would greatly help in unfortunate and stressful times.

Should I Get Private Health Insurance If I am Not Eligible for Government Schemes?

Just like the Rajasthan govt health insurance scheme, similar government mediclaim insurance facilities are helpful for the underprivileged. However, there are two caveats — not everyone can get it, and there is a limitation to the sum assured.

If someone wants to increase their coverage with a higher sum assured, they can not do it. In that case, looking at private health insurance can be a good idea. Private health insurers like Tata AIG provide great benefits to the insured.

Tata AIG health insurance policies offer -

  • Cashless Hospitalisation in India
