Tourist Visa- The tourist visa is granted to Indians planning a vacation in Mauritius for a short duration. A maximum period of 6 months will be provided within a calendar year, subject to Immigration requirements.

Business Visa- The business visa will enable you to travel to Mauritius to establish a business or engage in investment activities.

With a business visa, you can stay in Mauritius for a maximum of 120 days in a calendar year. However, each trip should not exceed 90 days, and you are not allowed to receive remuneration during your stay.

Premium Visa- Premium visa is provided to foreign nationals eager to visit Mauritius and want a long stay as a retiree, professional, or tourist with their family. It permits them to work or carry out their business remotely from Mauritius. Premium visas are issued for one year and are renewable.

Social Visa- If you are travelling to Mauritius for religious purposes, you need to apply for and obtain a social visa prior to travel.

Socio-cultural organisations sponsor a social visa to organise social and religious events for a maximum of 45 days.

Multiple Entry Visa- A multiple entry visa is offered to foreign business persons who have business interests in Mauritius. It can be provided for a maximum of 120 days for business facilitation and each trip not exceeding 90 days of stay.

Transit Visa- It is a visa provided to passengers travelling to a different destination, however, transiting through Mauritius within 24 hours.

Student Visa- A student visa is issued to applicable candidates enrolled in a tertiary educational institution to follow part-time or full-time courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels or any other programmes or Technical and Voluntary Educational and Training.

It is also applicable to post-doctoral research and exchange programmes.

Medical Visa- A medical visa can be provided for medical treatment in Mauritius for a period not exceeding 6 months. The visa will be granted on arrival.

However, the treatment should be provided by a private healthcare institution authorised by the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life under the Private Health Institutions Act.
