The Motor Vehicles Act 1988 has provided mandatory rules for an application for a change of address of the registered owner to be included in the vehicle's registration certificate. Anyone who changes residence permanently or for an extended time must change their driver's licence.

There are two ways to change the address on your driver's licence. Before understanding the two ways, let's look into another important component for your car, i.e., insurance for four-wheelers, which protects your car from

damage caused by accidents, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, riots, and more. If the premium is paid regularly, the insurance company promises part of the monetary damage to the vehicle. Use Tata AIG's car insurance calculator to compare car insurance policy and their premiums and make an informed decision when purchasing a vehicle.

Tata AIG offers several types of car insurance that suit different needs. The add-on cover reliably protects your vehicle in all respects. You can now get car insurance online with just a few clicks. Get the right auto insurance with Tata AIG today.
