Vietnam Work Visa Process By Employer
Employers play a significant role in getting a work permit, which is essential for applying under the work visa category. Below is the procedure that the Vietnam employer needs to follow.
Step 1: Request for Acceptance of Hiring Foreign Employee
The very first **Step employers need to take is 30 days before the hiring of foreign employees; they need to submit a formal request in written format to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs or Chairman of the People's Committee at the provincial level.
Employers can also submit the online request using the official web portal. The request should specify the demand for hiring a foreign employee based on the role. If the submitted request is not valid, the authorities will send the request for correction.
Step 2: Submit Application for Foreign Employee Work Permit
After receiving approval from the authority for hiring the employee, the employer needs to submit the application for the employee's work permit.
The employer needs to send all the required documents to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs or the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the province where the foreign national is supposed to work.

Step 1: Carry out the Visa Application Process
The employee needs to initiate the work visa application process by scheduling an appointment at the embassy or consulate office in their home country. The applicant needs to fill out Form NA1, which is the Vietnam visa application form.
