A registration certificate is proof of a vehicle's registration with the Regional Transport Office. It is an official document that proves the vehicle's ownership. Go to the concerned officer and provide him with the details.

He will enter the details into the system and update you about the RC status in a few minutes.

If you purchase a used vehicle, it will be registered in the name of the previous owner. After you buy the vehicle, you must transfer the RC in your name within 30 days of the transaction.

Under the “Status” tab, select “Know Your Application Status.”

Enter the application number and captcha correctly.

RC Status Check By Vehicle Number in Gurgaon Through Vehicle Number

If you do not have the application number or have misplaced it, you can check the status of the RC transfer using the vehicle registration number. Here are the steps to check the status.

Go to the website of Parivahan Sewa.

Find the “Online Services” tab and select “Vehicle-Related Services.”

Select the State as Haryana from the dropdown menu on the next page.

Choose the RTO applicable and tick the terms of service box. Click on “Proceed.”

On the next page, find the “Status” page and choose “Know Your Application Status.”

Select the “Vehicle Registration” option.

Enter the vehicle registration and captcha as shown and click “Submit.”

You will get the RC status on the next page.

RC Transfer Check Offline

Another way to check the status of your RC transfer is offline. Follow the following steps to visit the RTO near you and enquire about the transfer.

Step 1: Go to the RTO nearest to you.

Step 2: Ask at the desk about the process to find out the transfer status.

Step 3: Provide the concerned officer with the registration number or application number.

Step 4: The officer will enter the details into the system and inform you about the status.

Purchasing a vehicle makes it necessary for the buyer to register it in his name. A new vehicle comes with a temporary registration, which is valid for one month only.

Before the validity is over, you must apply for a permanent registration by following the process, which includes submitting the documents, paying the fees, visiting the RTO, etc.

The Online Process of Vehicle Registration in Gurgaon

Visit the website of Parivahan Sewa.

Search for the “Online Services” and select “Vehicle-Related Services.”

On the following tab, you must select the appropriate RTO and tick the terms of service box.

Next, click on the “Apply for New Registration” tab and then select “For Temporary Registered Issued Vehicle.”

On the next screen, you must provide the temporary registration number and click “Proceed.”

Fill out the form as directed and upload all the documents required.

You must make the fee payment online by selecting an appropriate mode.

Book an appointment at the nearest RTO to get your vehicle inspected.

Visit the RTO on the scheduled day.

The RTO will issue an RC within 30 days.

You will receive the RC within 30 days.

From the services listed on the page, select “Renewal of Registration.”

Enter the registration number and chassis number. Click on “Verify Details.”

Provide the details/documents asked.

Pay the renewal fee online.

Book an appointment at an RTO near you for a vehicle inspection.

Visit the RTO on the appointed day, along with your vehicle, documents, and fee receipt.

After inspecting the vehicle, if the RTO personnel is satisfied, the RC will be renewed.

RC Renewal in Gurgaon at an RTO

Those who are unable to access the online services for RC renewal can use the offline method. Here are the steps to follow:

Visit an RTO near you and fill out form 25 or download the form online.

Provide all the information accurately in the form.

Submit all the necessary documents and pay the renewal fees.

The inspector at the RTO will inspect the car. If the inspection is to his satisfaction, your RC will be renewed.
