  • The RTO MH-06 also issues the permanent RC legally mandated in India. All vehicle owners with a temporary RC must complete the permanent registration process to get a permanent RC. It is valid for up to a few years, depending on vehicle type.

  • The permanent RC is valid for 15 years for private vehicles and 5 years for commercial vehicles. The RTO MH-06 provides online and offline procedures for this.

It proves that a vehicle's emissions are within the prescribed limits. A vehicle is prohibited from driving if it does not meet the Indian emission standards.

  • Authorised emission testing centres issue the PUC Certificate. The emission test involves an examination of the exhaust gas of vehicles. The RTO MH-06 examines and validates the PUC certificate.

No Objection Certificate

  • A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required if a vehicle is transferred from one state to another. It is a crucial document since it certifies that no dues, challans or taxes are to be paid for the vehicle. The MH-06 RTO issues NOCs for vehicles.

  • Once an NOC is obtained from the RTO, the vehicle can be registered in another RTO after all necessary clearances. An NOC is valid for up to 6 months. So, if you have procured an NOC, ensure the vehicle is registered with the new RTO during the span.
