The Thailand government granted a visa exemption for Indian nationals, which allows stays of up to 30 days. This exemption is valid from the 10th of November, 2023, to the 10th of May, 2024.

General Thailand Visa Documents Checklist

1	A completed visa application attested by the applicant.

1	Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months with two blank pages.

B	Finances
1	Applicant’s original and attested bank statement for the past 6 months, showing a consistent balance of USD 700 per person or USD 1400 per family.
2	If the current bank balance is less than 700 USD, provision of the following documents is necessary:
i.	A typed and attested cover letter by the sponsoring family member.
ii.	A typed and attested cover letter by the account holder.
iii.	An attested photocopy of the sponsor’s passport or ID card of the sponsor.
iv.	Proof of the relationship with the sponsor issued by the government.
C	Accommodation
a.	Proof of hotel/accommodation reservation in Thailand including contact details and address with the applicant’s name and/or rental agreement in Thailand with an attested copy of the Thai ID cards of the lessor.
1	If staying with family or friends
i.	If you intend to stay with Thai relatives or Thai friends, the provision of an invitation letter is necessary.
ii.	Provide a copy of their Thai ID proof and accommodation/rental proof.
iii.	If they are not Thai, include copies of their visa and work permit, valid for at least six months along with a copy of their passport and accommodation/rental proof.
2	Group travel
i.	If travelling in a group, include a cover letter stating all names with passport numbers, travel plan, and accommodation.
