Powered by a 1.4-litre MPFi engine in the petrol version and a 1.5-litre dCi CRDi engine in the diesel version, the car delivers a power-packed performance. The 5-seater four-cylinder vehicle measures 4247 mm long and 1740 mm wide, with a wheelbase of 2630 mm.

Before purchasing a new car, you evaluate its specifications, including fuel efficiency and engine capacity. However, it is equally important to evaluate and choose the right car insurance policy to add an additional layer of protection and maintain your car to the best standards.

A comprehensive car insurance policy offers protection for four-wheelers in the event of financial losses arising from accidents, natural calamities, man-made damages, etc. Furthermore, driving on Indian roads without a valid car insurance policy can lead to fines and penalties imposed by the traffic police as per the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988.

Tata AIG offers different kinds of four-wheeler insurance plans, such as third-party car insurance, standalone own-damage car insurance, and comprehensive car insurance. We help you buy a car insurance policy online by choosing the type of coverage and protection your car needs. Moreover, we provide car insurance add-ons to enhance car insurance coverage.

What are the factors affecting Insured Declared Value (IDV)?

iconDown

The Insured Declared Value (IDV) plays a crucial role in determining Logan’s insurance price. Therefore, one must know what factors affect IDV. The IDV is the estimated market value of a four-wheeler and the maximum sum insured the insurance company can offer to the policyholder in the event of theft or the car’s total loss. The age of the car is one of the prominent factors affecting IDV. The IDV of an older car is lower than a newer car. Consequently, the four-wheeler’s insurance policy will offer a lower sum insured. The other factors impacting the IDV are the car’s make and model and the city or state where it was registered.

How to estimate Mahindra Logan’s car insurance premium?

iconDown

Most customers prefer the four-wheeler insurance policy with the least premium. Many factors, like the type of insurance policy and coverage, impact the premium amount. Tata AIG offers three types of car insurance policies - standalone own damage cover, standalone third party, and comprehensive car insurance plans. Based on the degree of coverage offered in each plan, the premium amount will vary. The car’s age, make and model, engine capacity, safety features, etc., are other aspects that influence the premium amount. Add-ons also increase the premium. The more add-ons you include in your policy, the higher the premium. The online car insurance calculator helps you estimate the premium and understand how much you need to pay to buy the policy.

Why do I need car insurance?

Car insurance is vital to protect you and your car from various untoward situations that result in financial damages. The Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 also makes it mandatory for every car owner to have a valid car insurance policy. Without a valid policy, the car owner-driver can get into legal trouble and be penalised with hefty traffic fines. The policy also provides coverage against theft, which is great financial protection. The Personal Accident Cover of Tata AIG four-wheeler insurance provides a cover of up to ₹15 lakhs in the event of disability, bodily injuries, or even death of the owner-driver of the vehicle or the policyholder.
