HSRP Madhya Pradesh

Situated in the centre of the country, Madhya Pradesh is named among the fastest-growing states in India, especially in terms of transport and road infrastructure. Not only does it boast an extensive network of roadways, but it also offers obstacle-free connectivity via other modes of transport.

Not to mention, the traffic congestion problems in Madhya Pradesh are relatively low as compared to other Indian states, thanks to the excellent traffic management system.

If you hail from Madhya Pradesh, you probably already know how strict the traffic regulations here are. In order to drive legally on public roads, every driver here is mandated to carry documents such as a driving licence, bike or car insurance policy, etc.

Another such mandatory requirement from four-wheeler drivers is an HSRP number plate. Just like the aforementioned documents, if you are found without an HSRP number plate on your vehicle, you may have to face hefty fines and other legal consequences.

So, what is an HSRP number plate Madhya Pradesh? How to get one? That is exactly what we will discuss on this page. Read on!

What is HSRP Madhya Pradesh?

The number plates used earlier were very easy to tamper with. They can be easily changed and compromised by the thieves, making it extremely difficult for the police to track the stolen vehicles.

The High-Security Registration Plates or HSRP number plates were introduced to curb this problem. These number plates are made from high-quality aluminium and are affixed on the vehicle using non-reusable snap-on locks.

Coming to the design of HSRPs, they feature a 20 mm x 20 mm blue-coloured chromium-based hologram of the Ashok Chakra on the top left corner and a unique 10-digit PIN, which is laser branded at the bottom left corner. Further, it also features a hot stamped film on the blue acronym “IND” and all the numerals.

Once fixed on a vehicle, the HSRP is digitally linked to it.

Is It Mandatory to Have HSRP Number Plate Madhya Pradesh?
