Visit the Parivahan Sewa portal and click “Informational Services” in the main menu.

Choose the option of “Know your Vehicle Details” from the list. You will go to a login page. Type your phone number and click on “Generate OTP”. Type the OTP you get on your phone and click “Submit”.

Enter your vehicle’s registration and chassis numbers on the next page in the respective fields. You can find these details on your RC book or smart card. Click on “Search Vehicle”.

You will see the details of your vehicle, such as make, model, fuel type, engine number, etc. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the “Application Status” section. **Checking RC Transfer Status Offline

Visit the RTO where you have submitted your RC transfer or any nearby RTO in Chennai application.

Find a counter where the RC transfer applications are processed. You will need to show your original application form, fee receipt, and vehicle registration number.

Offline RC Renewal Process

  • Obtain an application form for renewal of RC (Form 25) from the RTO or download it online.
