Jaipur RTO offers systematic and organised transportation around the city, with the primary objective of implementing different transportation laws under the 1988 Motor Vehicle Act. The following are the primary functions of Jaipur RTO:

  • Issuing of several sorts of driving licenses, such as international driving permits, learner's, duplicate, permanent, renewal, and class license additions, among others.

  • Renewal, Trade Certificate, Ownership Transfer, Duplicate, Permanent Registration, Temporary Registration, and other relevant services.

Registering an Automobile in RTO Jaipur: How to Do It?

When you buy a new or used automobile, the first thing you need to do is acquire comprehensive car insurance and register the automobile with the nearby Jaipur Regional Transport Office.

By carefully following the steps outlined below, you may simply register your car at the RTO Jaipur:

Step 1: Every new automobile registration in RTO Jaipur may be completed by filling out the Application Form 20. You may complete filling out this application form online or pay a visit to your local Regional Transport Office to submit your application.

Step 2: After completing the Application Form 20, ensure that you submit all of the required documentation:

  • Duly completed and signed Application Form 20
  • Pollution Under Control Certificate
  • Address and age proof evidence (Aadhar, Voter Card, Passport, etc.)
  • Motor insurance
  • Previous six months' bank statement
  • Tax clearance records
  • Temporary vehicle registration number

Step 3: Your automobile will be assigned a registration number after a comprehensive check by the RTO Jaipur.

Step 4: If you haven't applied for a unique automobile registration number, the automobile number will be produced automatically online. A hard copy of your vehicle registration will be mailed to you via post.

Renewing an Automobile Registration Certificate in Jaipur: How to Do It

If you recently acquired an automobile and got an RC, you should be aware that this certificate is not perpetual and must be renewed every 15 years. The methods for renewing an RC in Jaipur are shown below:

Registering an Automobile in Jaipur: Documents Required

  • Sales Certificate of your automobile
  • Invoice receipt
  • Four-wheeler insurance of your car
  • Three passport-size photos
  • PAN Card Photocopy
  • Identity Proof (Aadhar, Voter, Aadhar, Electricity Bill, Passport, among others)
  • Temporary registration certificate handed to you by the automobile dealer during time of vehicle purchase
