Hungary Citizenship for Indians

Hungary, with its rich culture, beautiful landscapes, and affordable lifestyle, often intrigues and encourages the Indians to make the big shift and relocate.

The country welcomes people from all around the world with its high standards of living, educational and work opportunities and persistent efforts directed towards constant economic development.

However, to settle in the country, Indians require more than just a Schengen visa. They need Hungarian citizenship.

Hence, anyone looking to obtain Hungarian citizenship should know about the Hungary citizenship process, the difference between permanent residency and citizenship, and Hungary’s citizenship requirements to ensure they fulfil their dreams.

Hungary PR Vs Hungary Citizenship For Indian Nationals— What’s the Difference?

With a Hungarian PR or citizenship, Indians are allowed to live in the country and work as required. However, there are a few key differences between these two options when moving to Hungary:

  • With Hungarian citizenship, you can stay in the country forever and enjoy the same rights as Hungarian citizens. You also qualify for a Hungarian passport.
