A multiple-entry Cyprus visa is typically valid for one year, although certain categories of individuals may qualify for exceptions, extending the validity to a maximum of five years in specific cases.

Long-stay visas

Cyprus long-stay visas cater to non-EU nationals planning an extended stay of over 90 days, with an initial validity of one year, extendable for multiple years. This diverse category includes:

Work Visas: Issued to non-EU individuals with a job offer from a Cypriot employer.

Company’s Income Tax Returns: Include the company's income tax returns for the last three years to demonstrate the financial history and standing of the business.

Retired Individuals:

Retirement Proof: Provide documents such as a pension book or statement verifying your retired status and pension details.

Students:

ID Card: Submit a valid ID card issued by your school, college, or institute as part of the required documentation.

Minors:

Birth Certificate: Present the birth certificate displaying the names of both parents.

Legalised Letter of Consent (NOC): If the child is travelling with only one parent, the other parent must legalise the letter of consent.

Notarised Letter of Consent: If the child is travelling alone or without either parent, provide a notarised letter of consent from both parents permitting travel.

Death Certificate: In case one or both parents are deceased, submit the relevant death certificate(s).

ID Proof of Parents: Include identification proof of the parents as part of the application.

For visiting a friend or family:

Invitation Letter: A letter from the inviter stating the relationship and purpose of the visit. The letter should also assure responsibility for housing and related expenses during the guest's stay in Cyprus.

Sponsored visit:

Pick Up Your Visa: When your visa is approved, go back to the embassy or consulate to get your passport with the visa stamped inside. Follow their instructions for the collection process.
