• The employers then apply for the VITAS visa (Temporary/Limited Stay Visa) at the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). Then, the BKPM issues a recommendation letter to the Indonesian Immigration Department.

• Finally, employers need to provide the Indian employee with RPTKA and IMTA documents so that the employee can apply for the VITAS visa at the Indonesian embassy/Consulate in India. The VITAS visa allows Indian citizens to enter Indonesia.

KITAS Visa: KITAS or Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas is a temporary stay permit issued through a local immigration office by the Immigration Directorate General in Indonesia.
