      To make your travel plan complete, the policy will

      • Baggage loss (common carrier) - Pay compensation if your entire piece of checked-in baggage gets permanently lost while in the care / custody of a common carrier, due to theft or due to misdirection by a Common Carrier or due to non- delivery at its destination while You are a ticketed passenger on the Common Carrier.

      • Baggage delay - We will reimburse you for the expense of necessary personal effects, upto the maximum stated in the Policy Schedule or the schedule of benefits (refer to Part F. of this Policy), from the time you arrive at the destination stated on your ticket.

      •  Loss of passport - We will reimburse you, if you lose your passport and incur necessary and reasonable expenses in connection with obtaining a duplicate or new passport up to the maximum stated in the Policy Schedule or the Schedule of Benefits. The Deductible if any, shall apply to each insured event and shall be borne by You.

      • Personal liability - Pay up to the sum mentioned in the policy, if you become legally liable to pay for any property damage or the necessary medical expenses that are incurred or medically ascertained within one year from the date of an accident causing bodily injury.

    • Medical Benefits You Should Not Miss Out On

      To make sure health is not an issue, we will

      • Accidental Death and Dismemberment - Pay a percentage of the principal sum insured shown in the policy schedule if there is any injury to you under the circumstances described in the hazard during an insured journey

      • Emergency medical evacuation - Covered expenses are those for transportation and medical treatment, including medical services and medical supplies necessarily incurred in connection with your emergency evacuation

      • Accident & Sickness Medical Expense Benefit - Covered Medical Expenses incurred overseas by You which are not due to a Pre-existing Condition up to the maximum stated in the Policy Schedule or the Schedule of Benefits.

      • Repatriation of remains - Pay benefits up to the amount stated in the Policy Schedule or Schedule of Benefits (refer to Part F. of this Policy) for covered expenses reasonably incurred to return your body to India if you die during a Trip.

    • Situations in which the policy won’t work

      Remember that the policy doesn’t cover

      • Baggage loss (common carrier) - There is a loss of your baggage sent in advance or souvenirs or articles mailed or shipped separately.

      • Baggage delay - Any baggage delay while in India is not covered under this policy

      • Loss of passport - due to delay or from confiscation or detention by customs, police or other authority. Theft which is not reported to any appropriate police authority within 24 hours of discovery and an official report obtained.

      • Personal liability - Liability which is expected by or intended by you. Liability arising out of or in connection with a business engaged in by you
