Bounced Hotel or Airline Booking

  • Correspondence with the hotel booking agency for confirmed booking and the reason for the bounced booking of the accommodation.

  • Supporting documents are needed regarding the amount refunded by accommodation.

  • Correspond with the airline regarding the confirmed booking and the reason for the bounced booking.

  • Copy of new tickets and boarding pass.

  • Supporting documents are needed regarding the amount refunded by Common Carrier.

Hijack or Kidnapping Allowance

  • Full statements of the vent in writing.

  • The airline's correspondence with details of the hijack incident is attached.

Accommodation Extension

  • Copy of medical records or discharge summary or treating doctor’s report and prescription, if applicable.

Compassionate Visit

  • Copy of medical records or discharge summary.

  • Copy of diagnostic reports, pathological reports, or radiological reports, if any.

  • Copy of new ticket and boarding pass for the Immediate Family Member.

  • A copy of the original scheduled itinerary is required for the policyholder.

  • Bills and receipts for accommodation and meals of the Immediate Family Member during the compassionate visit.

Loss of Cash

  • Copy of FIR or police report stating the loss of cash, subject to relevant authorities having jurisdiction at the place of the loss within 12 hours after the incident.

  • Proof of Forex purchase.

  • If the incident happened in the Common Carrier, airport, or the accommodation where the policyholder was staying, provide proof of loss in writing from the Common Carrier or accommodation authorities with compensation details.

Upgradation to Business Class

  • Cancellation and refund details of the original return ticket if upgradation is not allowed, along with a copy of the new ticket.

  • Confirmation of additional fare incurred towards the upgrade from airlines of the original return ticket.

Rental Vehicle Cover

  • Copy of car rental agreement.

  • A police report or FIR confirming the incident.

  • Copy of internationally recognised licence.

  • Bills and payment receipts.

Alternative Transport Expense

  • Copies of correspondence with the airline authorities or others certifying the delay, cancellation, diversion, or shortening of the trip and the actual date and time of arrival.

How to File Tata AIG Travel Insurance Claims?
