Car safety ratings or scores measure how well a vehicle protects its occupants in the event of a crash. 1. Adult Occupant Protection (AOP),

2. Child Occupant Protection (COP), and

3. Safety Assist Technology.

• One Star: At least 4 AOP and 9 COP

• Two Stars: At least 10 AOP and 18 COP

• Three Stars: At least 16 AOP and 24 COP

• Four Stars: At least 22 AOP and 35 COP

• Five Stars: At least 27 AOP and 41 COP

Global NCAP

Global NCAP (GNCAP) is an independent organisation that tests cars worldwide in accordance with the United Nations’ safety standards. A 5-star rating indicates the highest level of safety due to excellent cabin integrity, effective restraints, and minimal injuries.

As of 2026, there have been no official test results from either Bharat NVSAP or Global NCAP about the Toyota Glanza NCAP rating. In other words, the car has not gone through any voluntary or mandatory testing, so it has no safety score.
